Mustard Front-Pocket School Backpack
A mustard-coloured backpack with a front zip pocket.

School bag category
Four school backpack styles from the current range: three with a rounded top and a front pocket, and one black flap style with front pockets. Each is shown as photographed and has its own page in this category.
What this category covers
A school bag is loaded twice a day, dropped on the ground more often than it is hung up, and expected to survive a full academic year. The four styles here cover two constructions: a rounded top with a front pocket, and a black flap body with front pockets. Each one is a real style in the range with its own page, and nothing beyond what the photographs show is claimed as a specification.

Dimensions, capacity in litres, strap padding, reinforcements and hardware grades are not stated for these styles. Each is agreed in writing per project, and a loaded prototype settles the questions a photograph cannot answer.

5
brief areas to settle before a school bag prototype is cut.
Choosing inside the category
School bag inquiries rarely arrive with a model code. They arrive with an age group, a timetable and a list of what has to fit inside. These five areas cover what has to be settled before a prototype is cut — in general terms, not as fixed specifications.
Where a brief does not fit one of these areas, we develop around it. The list is a starting point, not the limit of what can be produced.
A bag for a young pupil and a bag for a senior student are not the same product scaled up. Back length, body depth and how far the bag hangs set the proportions, and a bag that is too deep tips away from the body when it is carried.
Confirm the age group and the tallest and shortest wearer, then check the empty prototype on both before anything else.
Select an area to change the guidance above.

A school bag programme usually starts from a wearer rather than a silhouette: a pupil in the first years of school, a senior student managing their own timetable, or a retail buyer assembling a back-to-school range. What changes between them is the specification, not the fact that it has two straps.

A school bag programme is usually split by age group rather than by design theme. Younger pupils need lighter bags with simple openings; older students carry more and want a layout they can organise themselves.
Agree the age bands, the typical book sizes and the tallest and shortest wearer in each band.
Seasonal retail buying compresses development into a short window and repeats the same construction across several colourways. Panels that stay the same between colours keep tooling and stitching consistent.
Lock the colourway count, artwork placement and carton marking before the prototype round closes.
Bags that travel to a sports hall need a separate compartment for kit, a base that wipes clean and side pockets that hold a bottle upright. Ventilation matters more than an extra front pocket.
Settle the kit volume, the bottle diameter and which panels need a wipe-clean finish.
Institutional orders are driven by consistency, so a repeat order has to match the original hardware, label and shell. Branding is usually a woven label or a printed panel rather than a decorative detail.
Agree the branding format, the components to be held consistent and the packing format for bulk delivery.

Two adjacent categories
Both are carried on two shoulders, and buyers often ask about them together. The brief behind each one is different, though, which is why they are held as separate categories with their own pages.

Supported specifications
Six areas are agreed on every school bag project. Details outside them are discussed with the design team rather than assumed from a category photograph.
Woven textiles, coated fabrics and leather-look surfaces appear across the product photographs. The exact material, coating, backing and cleanability are confirmed with a physical swatch before prototyping begins.
Nothing on this page fixes centimetres or litres. Outer dimensions follow the age group and the load, then are checked on a filled prototype instead of being scaled from a photograph.
Strap width, padding, back panel shaping, reflective trim and the grab handle are specified as one system per project, and checked on a loaded prototype rather than an empty one.
Book compartment, bottle pockets, front organiser and any device sleeve are drawn for the brief. Bottle and book sizes are measured, never estimated from a product picture.
Zips, pulls, buckles and sliders are specified with their finish. Reinforced corners, a bound base edge and bar tacks at the strap anchors are agreed as part of the pattern.
Woven labels, printed panels, embroidery, hang tags and carton marking are agreed together, with artwork approved before production and any market requirements listed in the brief.
Readable from the photographs
Shell appearance, panel layout, strap placement, pocket shapes, opening style and the hardware tone as photographed. These are the points our team can discuss against a specific style.
Agreed per project
Dimensions, capacity, book and bottle sizes, padding, reinforcement points, hardware grade, branding, packing and any institutional or market requirement. None of these should be inferred from a photograph alone.
Category questions
Questions buyers raise most often about this category. If yours is not here, ask us directly rather than reading a specification into a photograph.
Ask the teamYes. Each of the four has its own page in this category. Send the style name, target quantity per colourway and the market you are buying for, and our team will confirm availability and the details that need agreeing on a prototype.
These four are the styles photographed for this category. We also work from a customer brief, so a different body shape, colour, pocket layout or strap configuration can be quoted once the age group and the load are clear.
Both are two-strap bags, but a school bag is designed around a defined age group and a daily campus load. School bags are their own category here, built around book sizes, bottle pockets and reinforcement where a student bag wears first. Backpacks in this range are general carrying formats.
Yes, within what the pattern can support. Tell us the age group, the books and the bottle the bag must hold; our design team will confirm which parts can be adjusted and which ones change the pattern itself.
We keep an in-house design team and work both from original designs and from a customer's specific requirements, including ODM orders. A brief with age bands, dimensions, target quantities and reference images moves fastest.
The style name or the campus use you have in mind, age bands, target quantity per style and colourway, material and hardware preference, bottle and book sizes, branding format, delivery market and any institutional requirement.

Name a style from the gallery, or simply describe the age group, the books and the bottle the bag has to hold. Our design team can confirm what is already possible, what needs development, and which details have to be settled first.
